There are a variety of regular services held in the benefice each week.
On the first Sunday of each month at 10.30am there is a shorter Family Eucharist at Bury that is suitable for people of all ages.
On the second and fourth Sundays of the month the mid-
On the third Sunday there is a traditional Sung Eucharist at St John’s in Bury at 10.30am.
For those who prefer a quiet Book of Common Prayer Communion service, this is celebrated at 8.00 am on the second and fourth Sundays of the month in St John’s, Bury and, in the summer months, St Nicholas’, Houghton.
If the early morning is not for you, but you would still like a service taken from the Church of England’s Book of Common Prayer, then Hardham is the place for you with alternate Matins and Holy Communion services at 9.15am.
When there is a fifth Sunday in the month we have a joint Benefice service at 11am, using each of the four churches in turn. The next one is on 29th June at St Nicholas’, Houghton. We will all share a lunch afterwards. All are welcome.
On the fourth Saturday of each month (except July, August and December) we have Messy Church in Bury CE School, West Burton Lane, Bury from 11am to 1pm. There are activities for all, and families are particularly welcome. There is a short service, then we share a lunch. There is no charge for the lunch, but a donation towards the cost of the food would be welcome. The next Messy Church is on Saturday 22nd June. Please come!

On Thursdays at 9.30 am there is a quiet Eucharist at St Giles church. Following the service a Coffee Shop is open in nearby Sandham Hall.
